Job summary

XIAO GE CATERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced General Manager (Restaurant) to oversee daily operations, lead teams, and uphold top food quality and guest service standards.

You will drive profitability, manage budgets, recruit and mentor staff, resolve guest feedback promptly, and collaborate on promotions to boost foot traffic.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or related field preferred.
• Valid Food Hygiene / Food Safety Manager certification preferred.

• Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow, exceptional customer service, and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Oversee profit and loss statements, set budgets, control inventory and labor costs, and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff to build a collaborative and positive team culture
• Resolve guest feedback promptly and maintain high customer service standards to build strong customer loyalty
• Collaborate with management to plan and execute promotional events, menu updates, and local marketing campaigns to increase foot traffic
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels to prevent waste, and optimize profit margins

Education

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or related field preferred

Valid Food Hygiene / Food Safety Manager certification preferred
