Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
• 25 years of relevant managerial experience in M&E
• Proven leadership in M&E Consultant/Main Contractor/Specialist Company
• Extensive experience in design-and-build contracts and M&E cost control
• Completed full project cycles in Data Centres or M&E facilities
• Familiar with BIM for design and estimation
• Green certification (BCA Green Mark or LEED) is a plus
• Strong ability to mentor staff in cost breakdowns, tender assessment, and post-award administration
• Well-established industry network with subcontractors and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Lead the M&E team at Head Office and site, ensuring compliant, dutiful execution.
• Plan and deliver annual and mid-term targets for awards, sales, and profit.
• Develop career trajectories, training, KPIs, and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure optimal design, specs, and drawings for tenders; manage subcontractor pool and quotations.
• Apply Value Engineering during tendering and project execution to maximise margins.
• Oversee project execution and cost-control plans to meet quality, time, and budget.
• Establish and maintain a Corporate QA/QC plan for maintenance works.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for project support.
• Attend ad hoc management tasks and projects as needed.
• Oversee M&E works for data centres, residential, and hospitality projects using BIM and green standards.
