TANGSPAC SEARCH PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Director-level Data Scientist to drive AI and GenAI strategy for Wealth Management Asia. You will co-steer the AI Center of Excellence, bridging research with large-scale business outcomes, and lead governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance across the bank.

The role demands 12+ years in AI/ML with leadership experience, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and deep expertise in LLMs, NLP, and production ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or Mathematics.
• 12+ years in AI/ML with 5–7 years in senior/lead roles, preferably in financial services.
• Experience with AI transformation, industrialization, and client-centric personalization.
• Strong knowledge of ML, DL, NLP and RL; hands-on with large-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Strategic AI leadership and development of AI Center of Excellence.
• Define AI/GenAI strategy aligned with Wealth Management goals.
• Identify and champion high-impact GenAI use cases across the business.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end ML models at scale with governance.
