TANGSPAC CONSULTING PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to lead the bank's strategic data initiatives and advance the enterprise data ecosystem in Singapore. You will steer architecture and delivery of scalable data platforms for regulatory reporting, risk management, and analytics.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering combined with governance to ensure AI-enabled insights and compliant data practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise data engineering, analytics, and data platform delivery.
• Significant leadership experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake and modern data lakehouse technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms for banking and analytics workloads.
• Define target-state data platform architecture leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Google BigQuery.
• Drive adoption of lakehouse architectures using Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi; set engineering standards for scalability and security.
• Oversee unstructured data initiatives and NLP-enabled analytics pipelines with governance and traceability.
• Manage metadata, lineage, and critical data elements across business domains.
