Job summary

SearchAsia Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned AI leader to define and drive the organization's AI/GenAI strategy in Singapore. You will partner with senior leadership to identify high-impact use cases, oversee model development, and embed AI across functions to deliver measurable business value.

You will guide governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance while championing AI literacy and organizational transformation. Proven leadership in financial services or tech ecosystems is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 12+ years AI/ML experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role in financial services, banking, or technology.
• Deep technical expertise across ML, Deep Learning, NLP, GenAI (LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Agentic workflows), and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong domain knowledge in financial services, with experience in client analytics, risk, and fraud detection.
• Proven leadership across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in large, matrixed organizations.
• S solid understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to define and execute an AI/GenAI strategy aligned with business goals, identifying, prioritizing, and championing high-impact use cases.
• Drive the industrialization of AI — developing advanced ML models, operationalizing GenAI through secure APIs and model orchestration, and managing the full AI lifecycle from data strategy to continuous model monitoring.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML models across areas such as client segmentation, personalization, risk, fraud detection, and predictive analytics.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value, and working cross-functionally with business, risk, compliance, and operations teams to embed AI solutions.
• Ensure AI governance, ethics, and compliance — partnering with legal, risk, and compliance to validate use cases, ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to data privacy regulations.
• Drive AI literacy and cultural transformation across the organization through upskilling, mentorship, and industry partnerships.
• Establish data quality best practices, GenAI-specific evaluation metrics (e.g., toxicity, factuality, response quality), and robust monitoring systems for ongoing model performance.

About the Role
