Job summary
NCS is seeking a GenAI Software Engineer Intern to contribute to Sunshine.Coder, its internal AI-powered software engineering platform. Join a team across the software development lifecycle, building AI agents, automating tests, and drafting playbooks to uplift engineers in the day-to-day workflows.
As an intern for Jan–Jun 2027 in Singapore, you will collaborate with experienced engineers, participate in workshops, and deliver tangible improvements to AI tooling and automation.
Qualifications
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Playwright for automated testing.
- Knowledge of Git, debugging, and code reviews.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and AI augmentation.
Responsibilities
- Agentic workflow development— Building and testing AI agents that automate software development tasks using Claude, Cline, or OpenCode integrated with Ollama.
- AI skill authoring— Creating Claude skills to improve engineer productivity.
- Adoption analytics & observability— Instrument telemetry to measure adoption and ROI across engineering squads.
- Platform feature prototyping— Work on Sunshine.Coder web app features including authentication flows and API gateway middleware.
- Engineer enablement & AI coaching— Conduct workshops and write playbooks to upskill teams.
