Job summary

Aleph PTE. LTD. is seeking a Gen AI Engineer to design and build production-ready AI solutions that integrate enterprise data, APIs, and web apps.

You'll work on LLM/GenAI applications, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and agentic AI within a global team serving public sector, healthcare and regulated industries. Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Experience building backend APIs with FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus, Chroma, pgvector).
• Experience with Agentic AI / AI agents (tool calling, orchestration).
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or other LLM APIs.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering and semantic search.

Gen AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Python, FastAPI, LLM/GenAI application development, RAG, Vector Databases and Agentic AI. You will design and build production‑ready AI solutions that integrate enterprise data, APIs, knowledge sources and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM and Generative AI applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Build scalable REST APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using enterprise documents and structured/unstructured data.
• Design and implement Vector Database solutions for semantic search, embeddings and knowledge retrieval.
• Integrate and orchestrate LLMs, embeddings, APIs and enterprise data sources.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows capable of tool calling, reasoning, task orchestration and multi-step execution.
• Build frontend components and AI-enabled user experiences using React.
• Implement prompt engineering, context management, evaluation and guardrails for LLM applications.
• Ensure AI solutions have appropriate logging, monitoring, traceability, security and human-in-the-loop controls.

Prerequisites

• Strong hands‑on experience in Python.
• Strong experience building backend APIs and services using FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience developing applications using LLMs and Generative AI.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval and response generation.
• Experience with at least one Vector Database such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Milvus, Chroma or pgvector.
• Experience with Agentic AI / AI agents, including tool calling, workflow orchestration and multi‑step agent execution.
• Experience working with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or other LLM APIs.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, semantic search and LLM evaluation.
• Working experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks for integrating AI capabilities into web applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, data integration and structured/unstructured data.
• Good to have ReactJS experience.
