Job summary

Aleph is seeking a Gen AI Engineer in Singapore to design and build production-ready AI solutions that integrate enterprise data, APIs, knowledge sources and web applications.

You will develop LLM apps, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI agents while ensuring robust logging, security and human-in-the-loop controls. Frontend work with React and API integration are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Experience building backend APIs with FastAPI.
• Hands-on with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Experience implementing RAG architectures, including document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, retrieval and response generation.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
• Experience with agentic AI, including tool calling and workflow orchestration.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering and embeddings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM and Generative AI applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Build scalable REST APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Develop RAG pipelines using enterprise documents and structured/unstructured data.
• Design vector database solutions for semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
• Integrate and orchestrate LLMs, embeddings, APIs and enterprise data sources.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows with tool calling and multi-step execution.
• Build frontend components and AI-enabled user experiences using React.
• Implement logging, monitoring, traceability and human-in-the-loop controls.
