Job summary

Outbox Plus in Singapore is seeking a kitchen-based pastry/gelato creator to prepare and produce gelato, pastries, cakes and desserts. You will develop new flavours while ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation, and assist with daily production per schedule.

The role focuses on recipe adherence, portioning accuracy, proper storage, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. A passion for desserts and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Able to start work immediately
• Relevant experience in F&B, bakery, pastry or gelato is an advantage
• Passionate about food, desserts and creativity
• Positive working attitude, responsible and a good team player
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce gelato, pastries, cakes and desserts according to recipes and standards
• Develop and create new gelato flavours and pastry items
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning and presentation
• Assist with daily production and preparation according to schedule
• Maintain proper storage, stock rotation and ingredient handling
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene and food safety in the kitchen
• Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in good condition
• Assist with other café-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
