Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science.
• Strong knowledge of toxic and combustible gas detection principles.
• Hands-on maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of gas monitoring systems.
• Ability to read P&ID, electrical schematics, loop diagrams and system architecture.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot gas monitoring systems to ensure safe operation.
• Perform sensor validation, response testing, alarm verification, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to gas alarm events with the Emergency Response Team, providing timely analysis and recovery.
• Review P&IDs and schematics and interpret system architecture documentation.
• Lead or support root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors for upgrades, software enhancements, and integrations.
• Support PLC/SCADA integration and verify safety interlocks.
