Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) seeks a hands-on Gas Monitoring Specialist to maintain and calibrate Toxic Gas Monitoring and combustible gas systems across the facility. You will validate sensors, test alarms, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on monitoring equipment and control panels.

Collaborating with the Emergency Response Team, you will analyze alarm events and lead root-cause investigations to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of gas monitoring or life-safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, control wiring diagrams, and system architecture documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) and combustible gas monitoring systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Perform sensor validation, response testing, alarm verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on gas monitoring equipment, sensors, controllers, alarm networks, and control panels.
• Respond to gas alarm events in collaboration with the Emergency Response Team, providing timely technical analysis and system recovery.
