Job summary

GMP TECHNOLOGIES (S) PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Field Service Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of our safety product lines. You will participate in field and in-house service and repair of gas detection systems, including warranty work, safety activities, emergency response and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: NTC 2 or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably 3 years’ service/engineering experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of the safety product.
• Participate in field and in-house service and repair of gas detection systems, including warranty work and emergency responses.
• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety.
• Manage all orders efficiently through the Service team until fulfilment.
• Liaise with customers, service supervisors, coordinators and logistics on queries, status and deliveries.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are efficient.
