Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a experienced field service engineer in Singapore to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on breathing apparatus and related equipment. You will inspect, test, repair and verify safety equipment, diagnose faults and drive timely resolutions on breakdowns.

The role requires 5–10 years of field service experience, Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics, and hands-on pneumatic/mechanical know‑how.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or relevant qualifications.
• 5–10 years of field service/maintenance/engineering experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Process, Semiconductor or Electronics industries preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing and warranty repairs for breathing apparatus and related equipment.
• Conduct inspection, testing, repair and functional verification of breathing apparatus and safety equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency service requests with timely resolution and equipment turnaround.
• Manage service orders from initiation through completion, coordinating with Service, Logistics and other departments.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues, service requirements, equipment status and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or service personnel as required.
• Support service projects, equipment improvement initiatives and emergency response activities.
• Prepare and communicate technical findings and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to Workplace Safety & Health requirements and participate in safety activities.

Requirements

• Experience within the Oil & Gas, Process, Semiconductor or Electronics industries is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
