Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD invites an experienced service engineer to maintain breathing apparatus and safety equipment across client sites in Singapore. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and pneumatic skills, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Min 3–7 years of service/engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate with customers.
• Experience with breathing apparatus or related safety systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of breathing apparatus and related safety equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspection, testing and functional checks.
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs independently.
• Attend breakdown and emergency service calls when required.
• Manage assigned service jobs from start to completion.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues, service updates and equipment status.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely completion of service jobs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 3-7 years of relevant service/engineering experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Process, Semiconductor or Electronics industries.
• Good hands-on experience with mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience with breathing apparatus, safety equipment or related systems will be an advantage.
