Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a skilled service engineer to independently perform start-up, maintenance, testing, and repair of breathing apparatus and related safety equipment in Singapore. The role involves diagnosing faults, coordinating with service and logistics, and ensuring on-time service delivery to customers.

You will inspect, test, and verify equipment, provide technical guidance to junior staff, and participate in safety initiatives while handling emergencies and complex service

Qualifications

• Min Diploma/ Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Prior experience with breathing apparatus or related equipment is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform start-up, contract maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, service logging, and warranty repairs for breathing apparatus and related equipment.
• Conduct inspection, testing, servicing, repair, and functional verification of breathing apparatus and associated safety equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Respond to breakdown calls and emergency service requests, ensuring timely resolution and optimal equipment turnaround.
• Manage service orders from initiation to completion, coordinating with Service, Logistics, and relevant departments to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders on technical issues, service requirements, equipment status, and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior service personnel or technicians when required.
• Participate in service projects, equipment improvement initiatives, emergency response activities, and other technical assignments as required.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fulfill Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities and participate in relevant safety activities as required by the company.
