Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a service technician to support start-up, routine maintenance and warranty repairs for gas detector systems. You will handle service coordination, liaise with customers and logistics, and participate in safety activities to ensure efficient response times.

The role requires a dip/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and advantageous knowledge of gas detector systems. On-site work with a focus on safety and reliability is expected.

Qualifications

• Min Dip/ Deg in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or any relevant qualifications.
• Prior knowledge/ exp in Gas Detector Systems is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.
• Participate in service and repair of gas detectors, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.
• Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
• Liaison with customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistics pertaining to queries, issues, status and deliveries.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at an optimal level of efficiency.
• Provide support to other service activities as assigned.
• Communicate technical information accurately to employees, customers and external parties in writing and verbally.
• Participate in Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/activities as requested by the company.
