Job summary

PERSOL seeks a customer-oriented team member for Napier/Botanic Garden MRT area to assist visitors with queries and directions. The role involves roving around the gardens, greeting guests, and ensuring safety and crowd control while delivering excellent service.

Ideal candidates have a year of customer service experience and are comfortable working outdoors in a busy attraction setting. A basic salary is offered with incentives and a semi-annual bonus, and a 4‑day work pattern.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O Level, NITEC or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience advantageous.
• Outdoor environment experience preferred.
• Hospitality/tourism experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and handle visitors’ queries.
• Perform roving duties around the gardens and visitor information duties.
• Greet and welcome visitors with excellent customer service.
• Ensure the safety of the visitors and assist with crowd management.
• Identify and report safety lapses, risk issues or incidents to Supervisors.
• Perform service recovery where necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
