Job summary

HoYoverse is seeking a proactive Operations & Community Specialist to join our global team. You will support testing management, user support, localization coordination, and data feedback loops across multiple markets.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree with 1–3 years in digital operations or community management; fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication and analytical skills, and a passion for gaming culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 1–3 years of experience in digital operations, customer service, community management, or project coordination.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Solid understanding of gaming industry concepts like patch/update cadences and user feedback loops.
• Familiarity with ACG culture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Testing Management & Execution: assist in daily execution and tracking of global Beta test phases, screen tester applications, distribute builds, track NDA compliance, and fulfill tester rewards.
• Community & User Management: support day-to-day operations of global communities (e.g. Discord) and handle player inquiries and tickets following guidelines.
• Localization Coordination: track and coordinate translation, proofreading, and implementation of multilingual content and ensure timely publication.
• Data Analysis & Feedback Loop: collect and organize player feedback and customer support data and perform basic analysis for decision-making.

Testing Management & Execution: Assist in the daily execution and tracking of global Beta test phases. Responsibilities include screening tester applications, distributing test builds, tracking NDA compliance, and fulfilling tester rewards.

Community & User Management: Support the day-to-day operations of global communities (e.g. Discord). Assist in handling global player inquiries and customer support tickets, following established guidelines for response and escalation workflows.

Localization Coordination: Assist in tracking and coordinating the translation, proofreading, and implementation of multilingual operational content (e.g., emails, announcements, user agreements). Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure global content is accurate and published on schedule.

Data Analysis & Feedback Loop: Assist in collecting and organizing player feedback and customer support data. Perform basic data analysis and aggregation as requested to provide reliable insights for team decision-making.

Requirements

Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in digital operations, customer service, community management, or project coordination. (Experience in the gaming industry is preferred).

Language Skills: Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (to collaborate with Chinese-speaking development teams and stakeholders).

Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the gaming industry and core player operation concepts, such as patch/update cadences, community management, and user feedback loop.

Cultural Affinity: Passionate about gaming; familiarity with ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) culture is a plus.
