Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Vice President to lead the FX Middle Office in the Asia Ex-Japan region from Singapore. The role entails ensuring accurate trade capture, lifecycle management, governance, and control enhancements across front-to-back processes.

The successful candidate will drive automation, manage offshore teams, and collaborate with Sales, Structuring and Trading to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of middle office experience in FX derivatives.
• Experience in FX structured products and precious metals; knowledge of other macro products is a plus.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back trade flows, risk and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Verify timely and accurate trade capture in front office systems.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle events and controls for accurate processing.
• Serve as main operational contact for Front Office and regional stakeholders.
• Handle escalations and resolve issues within agreed timelines.
• Provide governance of offshore teams and maintain strong controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audits.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Present risk and control updates to senior management and manage risk indicators.
