Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership partners with a leading global financial institution to identify a high-calibre Middle Office Vice President to join its Singapore Operations team. This regional role offers close collaboration with FX Trading, Sales, Structuring and senior stakeholders across Asia.

The role requires 10+ years in FX Middle Office with derivatives expertise, leadership capabilities, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in FX Middle Office with FX derivatives expertise.
Solid exposure to FX structured products and precious metals.
Strong understanding of front-to-back trade flows, Risk and P&L.
Proven ability to manage complex transactions, exceptions and operational risk.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with Front Office influence.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong Excel skills; Python/AI or automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the end-to-end FX trade lifecycle, from trade capture through to completion.
Act as the key operational partner to the Front Office, challenging, escalating and resolving complex issues.
Drive risk, controls and governance across the FX Middle Office function.
Lead process optimisation, automation and digitalisation initiatives.
Manage and develop teams while overseeing offshore operations.
Partner with senior stakeholders on new business initiatives and strategic change.
