Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Business Analyst with expertise in the Data and Finance domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for data-centric and financial systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Finance,Businessor a related field;
• Must have work experience inCorporate banking/Financial market domain;
• Must have 15+ years of experience in implementing full end to end projects for finance applications such asSAP ERP, Enterprise Budget, Financial Consolidation;
• Must have proficiencyin data management and financial systems;
• Experience in handling large sets of financial data, detailed data analysis and data profiling;
• Knowledgeable in accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills, with the ability to translate analysis into practical solutions that align withbusinessobjectives;
• Able to facilitate and drive workshop discussions withbusinessand technology teams;
• Strong communication skills, prepare high quality andconcise presentation slides to senior management;
• Strong stakeholders engagement skills, self driven and proactive;
• Adaptive to different area in the data and finance space, open to learning new Gen AI technology.

Desired Skill-set

• Certification such as PMI-PBA,CBAP(CertifiedBusinessAnalysis Professional) and others;

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document the "to be"businessand operations processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment;
• LiaisewithBusinessUnit Specialists to elicit and reviewbusinessrequirements;
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure non-functionalrequirements effectively incorporate security requirements;
• Analyse and define detailedfunctionaland non-functionalrequirements based onbusinessrequirements;
• Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness;
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope;
• Major deliverables areData mapping specifications and Data Lineage,BusinessRequirement Document (BRD),FunctionalSpecification Document;
• Review test plan andfunctionaltest scope prepared by testing team;
• Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution
• Writebusinessfunctionalrelease notes and contribute to deployment plan;
• Work with Test Manager to translatebusinessrequirements into test scenarios;
• Perform impact assessment and estimation for project and change requests;
• Manage Scope creep and Change Request;
