Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Functional Business Analyst to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and support system implementation from discovery through delivery.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience in business/functional analysis, strong requirements gathering, documentation skills, and a solid grasp of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Collaboration with architects, developers, testers, and business users is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements.
• Proficient in documenting functional requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, databases or data mapping is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Identify gaps, dependencies, business rules, and system requirements.
• Work closely with architects, developers, testers, and business users.
• Support solution design, SIT, UAT, defect management, and implementation.
• Define functional integration and data requirements.
• Maintain requirements documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in IT system implementation or software delivery projects.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, or data mapping is an advantage.
