Job summary

Synechron Technologies Private Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to translate complex card and payments requirements into detailed specifications. You will manage stakeholders, coordinate with product and development teams, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across online and offline processes.

The role requires 10–12 years in Cards and Payments, expertise in Cards Fraud, and experience with modernization initiatives and AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years experience in Cards and Payment domain.
• Experience in Cards Fraud domain – 3DS, Cards Fraud Detection, prevention, and customer management.
• Experience in card modernization initiatives, transformation programs, and AI-driven innovation projects within the cards ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, scope change, solutioning, risks and issues.
• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes.
• Deliver executive level communication on capability and solutions.
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context.
• Evaluate and analyze existing business processes, and uncover areas for improvements.
• Envision and design end to end business processes and communicate requirements with developers.
• Define detailed user stories based on business requirements with sufficient details for estimation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet requirements through proposed solution.
• Ensure user stories are consistent and high-quality.
• Participate in planning meetings between Product Owners and System Analysts to explain story requirements.
• Collaborate with design team for User Interface design requirements.
• Consult Solution Architect or System Analyst for technical requirements.
• Assist Product Owner in clarifying dependencies and backlog topics.
• Assist on operational impact and embed in readiness plans.
• Monitor and manage risks/issues related to scope creep.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated.
• Translate business requirements into test scenarios with the test manager and testers.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder and Communication Management:

• Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, scope change, solutioning , risks and issues
• Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes
• Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication on capability and solutions

Process and Delivery Execution:

• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context.
• Ability to evaluate and analyze existing business processes, and uncover areas for improvements.
• Ability to envision and design end to end business processes, journeys and communicate and clarify requirements with developers.
• Define detailed user stories based on business requirements, ensuring that they follow Client's prescribed format. Ensure that user stories have sufficient details so that developers are able to estimate and work with them.
• Define detailed business processes, spanning both online and offline aspects. Coordinate with various stakeholders in Client to get detailed requirements, and ensure that they are met through proposed solution.
• Ensure user stories are consistent and high-quality.
• Actively participate in planning meetings between Product Owners and System analysts to explain the story requirements.
• Work with the design team for requirements that require User Interface Design.
• Consult Solution Architect or System Analyst for technical requirements.
• Be available for Product Owner to discuss any dependencies or backlog topic. Assist the Product Owner in defining finer details of the product.
• Assist on operational impact and ensure affected areas embed in operational readiness plan
• Monitor and manage risks/issues related to scope creep
• Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated
• Work with test manager and tester to translate business requirements into test scenarios

Key Requirements

• 10-12 years experience in Cards and Payment domain
• Experience in Cards Fraud domain – 3DS, Cards Fraud Detection, prevention, and customer management. Experience with Card Fraud Management platforms with AI/ML models, rules management and case management capabilities will be an added advantage.
• Experience in card modernization initiatives, transformation programs, and AI-driven innovation projects within the cards ecosystem will be a strong advantage.
• Detail oriented.

• Ability to evaluate and analyze existing business processes, and uncover areas for improvements.
