Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a passionate Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and technology partners to deliver high-quality software.

The role focuses on Angular, Node.js, SQL databases, and API development, with exposure to Agile delivery and engineering best practices within our Singapore office (Changi).

Qualifications

• Proficient in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), and Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, and UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of MariaDB/SQL, Sequelize ORM, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications.
• Develop front-end with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Ant Design.
• Build back-end services and RESTful APIs with Node.js/Express.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize database structures and queries using MariaDB.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration.
• Prepare technical documentation and system diagrams.
• Support production deployments and post-release activities.
• Mentor junior team members when required.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Software developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and technology partners.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Angular, Node.js, SQL databases, and API development, with a solid understanding of Agile delivery and software engineering best practices.

Contract: 12 Months
Location: Changi

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Ant Design.
• Build and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and integrations using MariaDB and Sequelize ORM.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and system diagrams.
• Support production deployments, incidents, and post-release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members when required.
