Job summary

Eames Consulting is partnering with a financial institution to hire a Fullstack Developer in Singapore to build high-performance, client-facing web solutions.

The role focuses on delivering modular UI components, scalable backend microservices, REST APIs, and end-to-end delivery ownership in an agile setting. Strong Angular/TypeScript/Java/Spring Boot experience and container technology are required.

Qualifications

• Proven full-stack engineering experience with Angular, TypeScript, Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and container platforms (Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Solid grasp of automated testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, Mockito, WireMock) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and strong security/code-validation practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement responsive, modular front-end web applications with reusable UI components.
• Design, build, and integrate scalable backend microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the software delivery lifecycle including testing, deployment, and production support.
• Drive security, maintainability, and scalability decisions in an agile delivery environment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and runtime issues across client and server layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement responsive, modular front-end web applications with a focus on UI component reusability and clean client-side architecture.
• Design, build, and integrate scalable backend microservices and RESTful APIs to support web-based platform capabilities.
• Take end-to-end technical ownership across the entire software delivery lifecycle, covering design, automated testing, deployment, and level-3 production support.
• Drive pragmatic engineering choices around application security, maintainability, and scalability within an agile delivery environment.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and runtime issues independently across client and server layers.

Requirements

• Proven track record in full-stack engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot
• Strong background working with REST APIs, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL), and container platforms (Docker, OpenShift / Kubernetes).
• Solid grasp of automated testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, Mockito, WireMock) and CI/CD pipelines via GitLab.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools while applying strong security and code-validation judgment.
• Prior exposure to banking or financial services platforms is an advantage.
