Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work with stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and tech partners to deliver high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has strong Angular, Node.js, SQL database, and API development experience, with a solid grasp of Agile delivery and software engineering best practices. This is a 12-month contract located in Changi.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful API development.
• Strong knowledge of MariaDB or SQL databases and Sequelize ORM.
• Familiar with front-end HTML5/CSS3 and UI frameworks like Ant Design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Build front-end solutions using Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and NG‑ZORRO/Ant Design.
• Create back-end services and RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Prepare technical documentation and system diagrams; support deployments and post-release activities.

We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and technology partners.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Angular, Node.js, SQL databases, and API development, with a solid understanding of Agile delivery and software engineering best practices.

Contract: 12 Months
Location: Changi

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Ant Design.

• Build and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and integrations using MariaDB and Sequelize ORM.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and system diagrams.

• Support production deployments, incidents, and post-release activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members when required.
