Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is assisting a leading IT client in Singapore to hire a Full Stack Engineer (Backend-focused) based at Paya Lebar. The role is a 1-year renewable contract with office hours, focusing on designing and maintaining scalable backend services for a cloud-based platform.

The candidate will build RESTful APIs, work with PostgreSQL, and implement secure coding practices. Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Express/NestJS, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js or NestJS.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, relational database design, and query optimisation.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with authentication and authorisation concepts (e.g. OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).
• Exposure to AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices, application security, and software testing.

• Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract

• Location: Paya Lebar
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Up to $6,900 + Bonus
