Job summary

BUTTER TGT cafe in Singapore is seeking a passionate barista & all-rounder to grow with our small, cozy team. You will work with the head barista to craft drinks, calibrate recipes, and manage daily cafe operations.

The role requires prior barista experience, a genuine passion for hospitality and coffee, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a barista is required.
• Passion for hospitality and specialty coffee, with a desire to learn more about coffee preparation and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate espresso and prepare espresso-based and non-coffee drinks according to defined recipes.
• Calibrate and prepare pouovers according to defined flavour profiles.
• Ensure tidiness and presentability of the cafe throughout operating hours.
• Ensure tidiness of working areas and perform routine deep cleaning of machinery when necessary.
• Other front-of-house responsibilities including seating customers, cashiering, serving of food and bakes, plating and clearing tables.
• Manage and oversee part-time team members.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
• General cleaning and routine machinery maintenance at end of day.

• Calibrate espresso and prepare espresso based and non-coffee drinks according to defined recipes
• Calibrate and prepare pourovers according to defined flavour profiles
• Ensure tidiness and presentability of the cafe throughout operating hours
• Ensure tidiness of working areas and perform routine deep cleaning of machinery when necessary
