Job summary

Surrey Hills Holdings Pte Ltd is expanding its F&B group with multiple outlets across Singapore and a new Western-Japanese concept launching in September 2026. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Baristas to join our growing team, whether experienced or eager to learn, with opportunities for growth and development.

As a Barista, you will prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages, operate beverage equipment, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing coffee beverages to standard recipes.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage-making is an advantage.
• Passionate about coffee and delivering good guest experiences.
• Willing to learn and develop beverage-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders and equipment.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation and portioning.
• Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and work areas.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the bar station.
• Monitor inventory stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups and ingredients.
• Follow SOPs, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and elevate issues to supervisor.
• Work with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak periods.
• Support outlet operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages (cocktail and Mocktail) according to company recipes and standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the bar station.
• Monitor inventory stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients.
• Follow company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and elevate issues to the supervisor where appropriate.
• Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak periods.
• Support outlet operations and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Previous barista or F&B experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage-making is an advantage.
• Passionate about coffee, beverages, and delivering good guest experiences.
• Positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willing to learn and develop beverage-making skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
