Cloudfields Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a passionate Barista to join our team. You will prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks, operate coffee equipment, and deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has prior barista experience or training, strong attention to detail, and good communication. You should be punctual, reliable and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior barista or café experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming.
• Barista certification or formal training is an advantage but not required.
• Strong understanding of coffee quality and preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, brewed coffee and other beverages per recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and beverage equipment.
• Dial in coffee: adjust grind size, dosage and extraction for consistency.
• Steam and texture milk for various beverages.
• Prepare non-coffee drinks like teas and juices.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar and prep areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the bar.
• Monitor beverage inventory including coffee, milk and syrups.
• Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to customers.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering friendly and efficient service to our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, has an eye for detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, brewed coffee and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other beverage equipment.

• Dial in coffee and adjust grind size, dosage and extraction to ensure consistent quality.

• Steam and texture milk properly for different coffee beverages.

• Prepare non-coffee beverages such as teas, chocolate, juices and other specialty drinks.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portioning across all beverages.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and beverage preparation areas.

• Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the bar.

• Monitor coffee, milk, syrups, garnishes and other beverage inventory.

• Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to customers.

About you

• Previous barista or café experience is preferred.
