TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior software engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of scalable applications. You will shape architecture, guide development, and drive quality through automated testing, code reviews, and refactoring. The role emphasizes cloud-native practices, API design, and mentoring colleagues.

The candidate should have strong communication skills to align technical decisions with business needs and manage stakeholder expectations across projects.

Competenze

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering across lifecycle.
• Experience with both new applications and legacy modernization.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, CI/CD, security (OWASP) and API/microservices.
• Experience in technical leadership preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop scalable applications using microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first approaches.
• Drive quality engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, TDD, refactoring, and technical debt management.
• Build and deploy production-grade applications using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Define API contracts and integration patterns, and conduct POCs/spikes to validate technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience covering architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Experience working on both new applications and legacy system modernisation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, software development practices, and application security principles such as OWASP.
• Experience with API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, consulting, or engineering enablement is preferred.
