Job summary

Nexbridge Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled full-stack developer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications. Use HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular to build responsive interfaces and robust backend services in Java/Node.js.

You will design REST APIs, implement microservices, and integrate with enterprise systems using APIs and messaging technologies. Cloud-native deployment on Azure, with Docker/Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD, is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using Java and/or TypeScript (Node.js).
• Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating applications using APIs and messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with database management and data integration concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and TLS/certificate management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with platform services like authentication, notifications, workflow, and APIs.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure.
• Support containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure services including AKS, APIM, Application Gateway, Azure Key Vault.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, deployment, and release.
• Maintain repos and development workflows in GitLab.
• Implement secure coding practices and enterprise security controls.
• Manage TLS certificates, secrets, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and health of apps.
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand workflows and needs.
• Participate in discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and release planning.
• Support modernization and migration initiatives within the FX ecosystem.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI-powered capabilities when needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using contemporary frontend and backend technologies.

• Support data exchange, synchronisation, and workflow integration across multiple applications and business domains.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-system integration issues to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
• Work with shared platform services such as authentication, notifications, workflow, scheduling, and common APIs.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), API Management (APIM), Application Gateway, and Azure Key Vault.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Maintain source code repositories and development workflows using GitLab.
• Implement secure coding practices and enterprise security controls.
• Manage security configurations, including TLS certificates, secrets management, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and operational health.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with product managers, service designers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to understand business workflows and user needs.
• Participate in discovery, solution design, prototyping, and implementation activities.
• Translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and release planning.
• Support application modernisation and migration initiatives within the FX ecosystem.
