Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software and cloud-based microservices within an Agile team supporting financial-industry products.

You will work across the stack with .NET Core/.NET 8, C#, Java, Docker and AWS, including OpenTelemetry. The role involves modernising legacy applications, building REST APIs, and delivering scalable solutions with a strong emphasis on security and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years preferred as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong .NET Core, .NET 8, C#, Java backend experience.
• Microservices, event-driven arch, EF and DDD.
• Docker/containerisation and OAuth security.
• Hands-on AWS: S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET and WebForms.
• Unit testing and Storybook usage.
• Generative AI/Claude for SDD and code reviews.
• Legacy .NET Framework 4.x maintenance and modernisation.
• Oracle SQL, query optimisation and .NET integration.
• IIS, Windows Server and Web.config transformations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain microservices with .NET Core/Java in an Agile team.

• Utilise Docker and AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS).
• Modernise legacy .NET Framework 4.x applications.

Role Summary:

Responsible for end-to-end design, development and maintenance of software/web applications, microservices and cloud solutions within an Agile team supporting financial-industry products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain microservices using .NET Core, .NET 8, C# and Java, with event-driven architecture.
• Use Entity Framework (EF) for database interaction and apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Develop REST APIs and implement OAuth, security best practices and SDD using generative AI/Claude.
• Use Docker and AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway and RDS.
• Maintain and modernise legacy .NET Framework 4.x applications.
• Deploy/manage applications on IIS and Windows Server, including Web.config/config transformations.
• Develop responsive applications using ASP.NET/WebForms, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Create/review unit tests using generative AI and maintain reusable UI components/design systems using Storybook.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams, troubleshoot full-stack issues and optimise application performance/scalability.

• Work with Oracle databases, including query optimisation and .NET integration.
