Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our Singapore team. You will work on Java/Spring Boot backend services and Angular-based frontend interfaces, with Oracle/PL/SQL as the data backbone.

You will design RESTful APIs, implement secure integrations, and participate in an Agile SDLC with CI/CD tooling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and producing clear technical designs are key expectations.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Frontend UI design with component-based architecture.
• Oracle database design and PL/SQL, including performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of API design, JSON/XML processing and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services using Java 11+ / Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular (v12+) and TypeScript.
• Model database schemas and optimize Oracle SQL/PL/SQL.
• Build secure integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and handle XML/JSON.
• Work in Agile/Scrum with CI/CD tools and Git workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce clear API specs.
