Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable full stack applications and automation for second-line monitoring and risk controls.

You will translate cybersecurity, governance and internal control requirements into automated checks, scalable workflows and dashboards. The role emphasizes secure SDLC, cloud deployments, and AI-assisted capabilities with strong collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of software engineering, full stack development or automation experience with multiple Agile lifecycles.
• Strong proficiency in frontend and backend using JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Next.js or Vue.js with Node.js, Python, Java or .NET.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full stack apps and automation to support monitoring and assessment of risk controls.
• Translate cybersecurity and governance requirements into configurable rules and automated checks with human review for exceptions.
• Own end-to-end development including UI, backend, databases, cloud, and workflows for compliance management.
• Develop dashboards and reports showing compliance status, remediation progress, and risk trends.
• Implement secure software practices including authentication, API security, secrets management, and automated testing.
• Explore AI-assisted capabilities to analyze documents and improve efficiency with appropriate human oversight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and continuously improve solution accuracy and usability.
