Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services in Singapore. The role covers cloud infra management, CI/CD automation, security implementation, vulnerability management, monitoring, and operational support to ensure reliability and security compliance.

You will design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, apply IaC practices, manage AWS resources, and collaborate with development

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native apps and infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficiency in at least two programming or scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Experience with IaC and automation tools (Terraform or Ansible).
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab, source code management, and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud security, secure coding, and DevSecOps principles.
• Vulnerability management, system hardening, and remediation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation for deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Apply IaC and environment automation practices.
• Manage AWS resources and platform services.
• Maintain CI/CD tooling and release processes.
• Monitor platform availability, performance, and health.
• Implement security controls per government/enterprise requirements.
• Model and secure system architecture with threat/risk assessments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, hardening, and remediation.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Troubleshoot infra, deployments, and platform issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security in SDLC.
• Support incident response and ongoing platform improvements.
