Job summary

CMC-APAC PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications and automation to support second-line monitoring of risk controls. The role emphasizes secure DevSecOps practices, AI-assisted capabilities, and strong governance engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in CS/SE/IS/Engineering/IT or equivalent.
• At least 5 years in software engineering/full-stack dev or automation with multiple lifecycle deliveries.
• Proficient in frontend and backend tech (JS/TS, React/Next/Vue, Node.js, Python/Java/.NET).
• Hands-on SQL/ PostgreSQL, data processing, API development, system integration (REST/GraphQL/gRPC/WebSockets).
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GC) and DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, IaC).
• Secure SDLC knowledge (JWT, API security, IAM, OWASP Top 10).
• Testing/QA for unit/integration/contract tests.
• Knowledge of IT governance and compliance (NIST/ISO 27001).
• Experience with AI/LLM tools, document analysis and workflow dashboards.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain secure, scalable full stack apps and automation for monitoring and control.
• Create dashboards and reports showing compliance status, gaps, and remediation progress.
• Establish secure software engineering practices across systems (authentication, API security, encryption, CI/CD).
• Explore and implement AI-assisted capabilities to analyze documents and improve checks with human oversight.
• Collaborate with governance, cybersecurity and system owners to gather requirements and improve solutions.
