Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore.

You will work on our HR web platform and AI-powered applications, spanning API and database design through to front-end delivery and cloud deployment. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of full-stack experience, strong Node.js/Express.js skills, Vue.js with Vuetify, and proficiency with PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs like Sequelize/Prisma/TypeORM.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and real-time features with WebSockets or SSE.
• Experience with AWS and Git.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop our HR web platform, delivering features that streamline HR processes and improve the user experience for clients and employees.
• Design, build and maintain back-end services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Develop and manage robust RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Design PostgreSQL database schemas and optimise queries for performance.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces using Vue.js and Vuetify.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality front-end code.
• Implement real-time features using SSE or WebSockets.
• Deploy, manage and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software components.
• Write clean, maintainable code across the stack.
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in full-stack web development, with strong experience in Node.js and Express.js on the back end, Vue.js and Vuetify on the front end, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

You will play a key role in building and developing our HR web platform and AI-powered applications, from API and database design through to front-end delivery and cloud deployment, ensuring our products are scalable, reliable and centred on the user.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop our HR web platform, delivering features that streamline HR processes and improve the user experience for clients and employees
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable back-end services using Node.js and Express.js
• Develop and manage robust RESTful APIs for internal and external use
• Design PostgreSQL database schemas and optimise queries for performance
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces using Vue.js and Vuetify
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, functional front-end code
• Implement real-time features using Server-Sent Events (SSE) or WebSockets
• Deploy, manage and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS)
• Use Git for version control, and take part in branching, merging and peer code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software components
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code across the stack
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database, and familiarity with a Node.js ORM (e.g. Sequelize, Prisma, TypeORM)
• Hands-on experience designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in Vue.js, with experience using UI frameworks such as Vuetify
• Practical experience with real-time communication patterns (WebSockets or SSE)
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment concepts
• Proficient with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication
