Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a full stack developer to build scalable, event-driven web applications, deliver modern user interfaces, and implement robust backend solutions with solid architectural practices. This role is based in Singapore.

You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS/Express, and frontend frameworks like Svelte/SvelteKit or React, designing RESTful APIs and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas. Join an Agile team and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS or Express.
• Strong experience with Svelte/SvelteKit or React.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, testing, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and modern frontend frameworks (Svelte/SvelteKit or React).
• Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and optimize database performance through efficient schema design and query tuning.
• Develop responsive, reusable user interfaces and translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous workflows to support real-time, high-volume data processing.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, participate in Scrum ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality, well-tested software delivery.
