Job summary

AI Rudder is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy conversational AI for enterprise clients in Singapore. You will work onsite, with frequent APAC travel, building backend systems and integrations that translate use cases into production deployments.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. You should have 3+ years in software/AI engineering, strong backend skills, and experience taking customer-facing projects to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of full-time software/AI/FD engineering experience.
• Hands-on backend experience building production systems, not scripts.
• Experience turning customer requirements into production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer problems and clarify impact, scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate workflows into technical plans with milestones and launch criteria.
• Build prototypes and turn parts into production-ready systems.
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues using logs and metrics to resolution.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and customer teams on launches and monitoring.
• Share deployment learnings with teams and build tooling to prevent gaps.
• Turn recurring issues into reusable docs, tests, or automation.
• Design and build backend services, APIs, and customer integrations in Go or Python.
