Qualifications

• Experience delivering swimming lessons to children and/or youths.
• Ability to assess swimmers' abilities and track progress over time.
• Strong knowledge of water safety and stroke technique fundamentals.

Guppy Gang Pte Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team in the North/ Central Region. As a Swimming Coach, you will play a vital role in our mission to develop young swimmers and foster a love of aquatic sports. This position require you to be responsible for the classes taken. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective swimming instruction to swimmers of various ages and abilities, helping them develop essential water safety skills and competitive swimming techniques.

What you’ll be doing

1. Planning and delivering high-quality swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels

2. Assessing swimmers' abilities and progress, setting achievable goals and tracking their development

3. Teaching fundamental swimming strokes, techniques and water safety principles in an engaging manner

4. Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence

5. Providing constructive feedback to swimmers and their parents regarding progress and areas for improvement

6. Maintaining accurate records of swimmer attendance and achievements

7. Ensuring all swimmers adhere to pool safety rules and regulations at all times

8. Collaborating with other coaches and staff to deliver coordinated programmes and events

9. Promoting a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork and respect among all participants
