Job summary

Edulab Academy in Singapore seeks experienced IBDP Business Management tutors for freelance or part-time roles. You will deliver 1-to-1 or small-group lessons, guide exam revision, and support IAs/EE with insights, leveraging strong knowledge of IB rubrics and local curriculum.

The role requires deep subject mastery, excellent English, and a reliable commitment to ongoing student sessions at Orchard locations. Flexible scheduling is offered with long-term collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IBDP Business Management teaching/tutoring experience.
• Familiar with syllabi taught at ACSI/SJI/SOTA and local IB schools.
• In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for IBDP Business Management (SL/HL).
• Support exam revision, IAs and Extended Essays with targeted guidance.
• Guide students in understanding key concepts and exam criteria.
• Mark essays and internal assessments; provide constructive feedback.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and passionate IBDP Business Management/Studies tutors to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IBDP Business Management curriculum, strong familiarity with Singapore-based IB schools (e.g., ACSI, SJI, SOTA), and a proven track record of guiding students toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for IBDP Business Management (SL/HL)
• Provide targeted support for exam revision, IAs and Exended Essays
• Guide students in understanding key concepts
• Mark and review students' essays, class practice, and other internal assessments
• Adapt teaching approach based on student needs and school-specific syllabus pacing
• Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria
• Track student progress and provide feedback to parents if required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IBDP Business Managemenet teaching/tutoring experience
• Familiar with syllabi taught at schools like ACSI, SJI, SOTA, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks
• Proven success in helping students achieve Level 6–7 grades
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Responsible, responsive, and able to commit consistently
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Education, or relevant fields preferred

Preferred

• MOE-trained or IB-certified teachers highly valued
• Familiarity with IAs and EE in local IB schools
