Job summary

ASCENSION ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Freelance Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and secure new corporate clients for recruitment and HR solutions. You’ll drive new business while our Account Servicing and Recruitment teams handle ongoing service delivery.

The role focuses on building client relationships, negotiating terms, and expanding the company’s customer base with uncapped commissions and incentives. Flexible working hours apply to this commission-based position.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Recruitment, Staffing, HR Consultancy.
• Strong communication, networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with a freelance, commission-only remuneration structure.
• Existing corporate networks or HR contacts welcome.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across recruitment, staffing and HR solutions.
• Research, prospect and approach potential corporate clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals and other channels.
• Build relationships with HR professionals, hiring managers and key decision-makers.
• Understand client recruitment and manpower requirements and propose suitable HR solutions.
• Arrange meetings and present ASCENSION ADVISORY's services to prospects.
• Prepare and conduct business discussions and negotiate terms.
• Convert qualified prospects into new client accounts.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Accounts Servicing and Recruitment teams for smooth handover.
• Identify opportunities to expand the client base and revenue.
