Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Manager of Fraud Operations in Singapore to lead a global team of analysts and shape the vision for risk management. You will drive initiatives to scale operations while protecting users and merchants.

This role requires Mandarin fluency, deep fraud/risk experience, and strong leadership. You'll partner with risk, engineering, and product teams to build tools, dashboards, and processes that reduce losses without harming the user experience.

Qualifications

• Mandarin proficiency required (written and spoken).
• 10+ years of experience in fraud/risk or management roles, including at least 2+ years leading and developing teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving with ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional influence.
• Passion for delivering a user-centric experience while effectively managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and develop a high performing fraud investigations team.
• Set goals, coach, and support professional growth of team members.
• Define strategic vision and execute it in both short and long-term horizons.
• Proactively evolve the organization's strategy to scale operations.
• Collaborate with risk leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify high ROI investments.
• Maintain oversight of operational vendor performance related to risk.
• Lead root cause analysis to predict, prevent, and mitigate risk.
• Define and manage core metrics, SLAs, and performance of the org.
• Identify gaps in systems and processes and deliver improvements to mitigate risks.
• Ensure risk management efforts do not compromise user experience.
