Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is hiring an ML/AI Engineer to join the Data Analytics and AI Division in Singapore. You will design agentic AI architectures and develop AI agents that detect fraud and surface risk indicators for government‑related projects.

The role emphasizes end‑to‑end development, evaluation, governance, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to operationalize MVPs. Hybrid/onsite Singapore-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong Python software engineering capability including API development and testing.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying ML/AI applications beyond proof‑of‑concept.
• Experience with LLM applications, retrieval, tool use, workflow orchestration or multi‑agent frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions with enterprise data platforms, databases, APIs or cloud services.
• Ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI systems including observability and reproducibility.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security and Responsible AI practices with human-in‑the‑loop controls.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Experience with AWS services and data processing pipelines (Redshift, Glue, PySpark).
• Experience CI/CD, containerisation, MLOps, or model deployment tooling.
• Experience delivering fraud detection, risk, or decision-support solutions.
• Familiarity with government/public-sector tech environments as applicable.
• Ability to explain architecture and risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end agentic AI architectures for FAM solutions and integrate with DSAD platforms.
• Develop AI agents to surface emerging fraud risks and actionable indicators.
• Translate validated risks into analytics and detection logic.
• Integrate agent workflows with Redshift, Glue, PySpark and data prep pipelines.
• Build modular, tested, and deployable services, with clear interfaces and version control.
• Create automated CI/CD workflows with governance gates.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, monitoring dashboards and alerts.
• Collaborate with DSAD data scientists, engineers and business users.
• Produce maintainable code, architecture records and runbooks.
