Job summary

Love, Bonito is seeking a Business Development Operations Manager to own the operational and merchandising engine behind our franchise and wholesale business. You will lead partner relationships, buying, onboarding, and performance reporting while collaborating with Marketing to land campaigns on the ground.

You will build scalable systems, drive quarterly reviews, and own P&Ls as the franchise expands across markets. A strong, hands-on operations mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in retail/wholesale operations, buying, merchandising, or franchise/partner management.
• Strong merchandising instinct and ability to curate assortments.
• Process-oriented with ability to build SOPs and scalable systems.
• Experience with inventory management or retail supply chain.
• Comfortable owning P&Ls, budgets, and quarterly sales plans.
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with reporting/dashboarding tools; AI for reporting is a plus.
• Growth-oriented with hands-on ownership today and appetite for broader planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact for partners: queries, operations, marketing.
• Support partners in executing marketing plans and asset delivery.
• Lead quarterly buying sessions and prepare buy sheet.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and VM for assortment planning.
• Ensure franchise partners have tools and training to uphold standards.
• Coordinate with IT/Ops to brief partners on website operations.
• Build yearly growth plans with marketing and expansion.
• Lead monthly business reviews with dashboards and data-driven insights.
• Own partner P&Ls and budgets.
• Oversee onboarding: account setup, store launch, post-launch support.
• Manage store openings and new online channels (Tik Tok Shop, LB local website).
• Coordinate with Retail Design as liaison.
• Build cross-functional project briefs for new stores/markets.
• Run market-entry pilots.
• Develop SOPs across departments.
• Build dashboards; monitor performance.
• Manage admin processes: P&Ls, invoicing, milestones.
