Job summary

The Methodist Church in Singapore – General Conference (MCS-GC) seeks a Fractional IT Manager to lead IT strategy and oversee outsourced providers. This part-time role focuses on governance, cybersecurity, vendor management and hands-on assessment when needed.

Responsibilities include shaping an IT roadmap, monitoring service levels, strengthening identity and access controls, and coordinating procurement and budgeting with Management and the Committee on IT.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT operations and service management.
• Experience with Microsoft-centric environments and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of cloud services, IAM, cybersecurity, backup/recovery and networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide IT strategy, roadmap and priorities.
• Oversee outsourced IT providers, monitor service levels and vendor performance.
• Strengthen cybersecurity, IAM, backup/recovery, business continuity and risk management.
• Maintain IT policies, documentation and controls.
• Serve as escalation point for complex IT issues and coordinate resolution.
• Lead IT projects, manage budgeting and procurement with Management and IT Committee.
