Job summary

Austen Maritime Services Pte Ltd seeks a Project Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the preparation, execution and close-out of mechanical work packages for FPSO life extension, overhaul, repair and recertification. You will supervise yard activities, coordinate with contractors and shipyard disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on shipyard supervision experience.
Experience with FPSO upgrades, life extension, overhaul and recertification.
Strong knowledge of mechanical integrity and piping systems.
Familiarity with DNV class requirements and offshore regulations.

Responsibilities

Act as Mechanical Work Package Owner for FPSO overhaul, life extension, repair and recertification scopes from engineering preparation through execution and close-out.
Develop detailed yard work packs with scope, drawings, materials, inspection and testing requirements.
Supervise mechanical work scopes in a shipyard environment ensuring safety and quality.
Coordinate with shipyard supervisors, contractors and engineering teams to ensure schedule and cost targets are met.
Review technical solutions and repair methods for compliance and effectiveness.
Support commissioning, testing and final handover of work scopes.
