Job description

You will serve as the primary point of contact between clients and IMS, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction and relationship management. The role involves addressing and escalating client issues and concerns, while collaborating with client stakeholders, the IMS consulting team, and software development team to ensure the successful and timely deployment of applications that meet client requirements.

A global technology provider specializing in advanced sensing, measurement, and process control solutions for high-precision manufacturing environments. The organization supports customers across semiconductor fabrication, vacuum technology, and other critical industrial applications by delivering hardware, software, and data-driven solutions that enhance process stability, yield, and operational efficiency.

The Job

• Support the full project lifecycle, including defining deliverables, identifying required expertise, preparing project estimates based on evolving client requirements, and managing schedules to achieve project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the IMS consulting team and company's global and regional sales teams to ensure effective project execution and customer support.
• Provide regular written and verbal updates to account managers and IMS management on project activities, customer feedback, requests, needs, and requirements.
• Liaise with the IMS software development team to provide application feedback, communicate feature enhancement requests, conduct quality assurance testing for new software releases, and coordinate deployments.
• Assist in the deployment, implementation, and support of IMS software and Industrial Engineering systems, including factory-wide scheduling and process control systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers on IMS products and services.
• Communicate technical findings and updates to customers regarding application development, process troubleshooting, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Conduct onsite training for company's products, with a primary focus on IMS software applications and related services.
• Support regional sales activities by delivering technical demonstrations and presenting product capabilities and solutions to customers.

The Talent

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or assembly.
• Familiarity with Industrial Engineering concepts and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management, preferably Oracle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues.
• Excellent organizational, computer, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to adapt to different field situations and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-20%) and undertake temporary overseas assignments as required.
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably with Oracle databases.
• Experience managing software deployment projects, including implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Industrial Engineering experience within semiconductor manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Willingness to undertake frequent international travel and temporary overseas assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of semiconductor process control systems, including Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Advanced Process Control (APC).
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), factory automation, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) in advantageous.
