ACEXCELLENT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an Application Engineer (Factory Productivity System) to bridge clients and the company, ensuring strong support and successful deployment of applications.

You will train end users, assist with change management, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet budget and timelines. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in semiconductor manufacturing, familiarity with external sensors, and basic SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in project life cycle by defining deliverables and estimating requirements, ensuring schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with IMS consulting team, regional and global sales teams.
• Provide feedback to account manager and IMS management on weekly activities and requests.
• Coordinate with IMS software development for new versions, QA, and deployments.
• Support deployment and operation of IMS software and Industrial Engineering systems, including scheduling and process control.
• Provide technical assistance to customers for IMS products and services.
• Deliver written and oral feedback on applications work, troubleshooting and advanced analysis.
• Provide onsite training on IMS software systems and services.
• Support regional sales with technical demonstrations and product presentations.

Job Overview

The Application Engineer (*Factory Productivity System) is the primary interface between the client and the company and must reflect the company unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. You are responsible for maintaining an excellent client relationship and for resolving/escalating any problems/concerns encountered. You will work with abroad range of client stakeholders, the other members of the company's consulting team, and the company's software development team to successfully and efficiently deploy the company's applications to help the clients achieve their objectives.

You will train end users, support client change management needs, test client requested application changes, and meet project budget and timeline. For this position, our ideal candidate would have a strong analytical background, experience in semiconductor manufacturing, familiarity with external sensors, and basic knowledge of SQL. Prior experience managing software deployment projects and process control is also a plus. Willingness to learn the company's industry, work with fellow team members and with clients, and adapt to changes is required.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the entire project life cycle by helping to define clear deliverables, determine what expertise is required, produce estimates of program/project requirements based on changing client needs, and adhere to the schedule to meet project goals.
• Work closely with other members of the company's IMS consulting team and the company's global and regional sales teams.
• Provide written and oral feedback to the account manager and company's IMS Management on weekly activities, customer requests, needs and requirements.
• Work closely with the company's IMS software development team including providing feedback on applications, communicating new feature requests, performing QA for new versions, and managing deployments.
• Assist with the deployment and support of company's IMS software and Industrial Engineering systems including Factory-wide scheduling and process control systems.
• Provide technical assistance to customers related to the company's IMS products and services.
• Provide written and oral feedback to the customers on applications work including process troubleshooting, development, and advanced analysis techniques.
• Provide onsite training for the company's products, primarily focused on the company's IMS software systems and services.
• Be able to support regional sales by providing technical demonstrations and presenting product offerings in technical presentations.

Requirement

• Diploma / Bachelor of Science degree in (Computer Science or Engineering)
• 3+ years’ work experience in semiconductor manufacturing or assembly
• Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts
• Knowledge and use of SQL and databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both external and internal customer relationships.
• Ability to adapt to various field situations and to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Possess strong analytical skills and critical thinking to solve complex problems
• Requires strong organizational and computer skills.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to travel internationally to customers' site (10-30%)
• Independent and self-driven

MUST requirement

• Knowledge of SQL with Oracle.
• Experience managing software deployments.
• Willingness to work temporary overseas assignments with frequent travel.
• Industrial Engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing or assembly.
• Understanding of semiconductor process control systems (FDC and APC), MES, factory automation, and statistical process control is a plus.
